Detectors for laser power and laser energy measurements are read out using monitors. The determination of low energy levels in the fJ range is particularly challenging. Only monitors with special noise suppression deliver precise measurement results. This is true, for example, of the new M-Link from Gentec-EO, the universal measurement device for laser power and energy.
A selected algorithm for noise suppression makes the M-Link the most precise measurement device for low energy levels. The M-Link’s measurement data is read out through the computer – via USB – and controlled by the LabView interface.
Would you like to synchronize the device with your pulsed laser? No problem! The M-Link is equipped with an external trigger.
The M-Link is suitable for the following measurements: power ranging from 4 pW to 30 kW, energy ranging from 30 fJ to 30 kJ, and a maximum repetition rate of 1000 Hz with time stamp. The software included performs real-time readouts and can display the following additional information: bandwidth, average value, and statistics. An indicator needle can be displayed onscreen as well.
