The UM9B-BL uses all the advantages that a pyroelectric detector has to offer, thus covering a large bandwidth at the noise level of a photodiode.
Just like all Gentec-EO detectors, the UM9B-BL is calibrated prior to delivery and can be readout using all Gentec monitors or, for the optimal utilization of the low noise level, using the APM.
