The pyroelectric energy meters cover a very wide range, going from nanojoules to several tens of joules per pulse. The are also available either in standalone formats, where the electronics are integrated in the head, or as standard sensors that you hook up to an energy meter.

For the detection of particularly low energies. Suitable for all laser systems.

Small compact detectors. For use with DPM or APM.

Use with Both Analog or Digital Modules
Each head can be connected to an oscilloscope using the analog power module (APM) or to a PC with the digital power module (DPM)

Pyrodetectors Used to Measure Ultra-low Power at a Noise Level of Just 200 nW or 5 nW.

The UM9B-BL uses all the advantages that a pyroelectric detector has to offer, thus covering a large bandwidth at the noise level of a photodiode.

Just like all Gentec-EO detectors, the UM9B-BL is calibrated prior to delivery and can be readout using all Gentec monitors or, for the optimal utilization of the low noise level, using the APM.
