Arizona Becomes a Key Technology Hub
Arizona has long been home to the production of high performance avalanche photodiodes. Over time, the facility has expanded to include pyroelectric detectors, InGaAs PIN detectors, PbS and PbSe detectors. With the opening of a new state of the art production site in 2020, LASER COMPONENTS has reinforced its commitment to precision manufacturing and continuous technological innovation in the United States.
Sales Organization Positioned Closer to the Market
For many years, LASER COMPONENTS’ U.S. sales teams have ensured fast and responsive support for customers with in house technologies as well as solutions from leading photonics brands. As a significant share of company revenue is generated from North American products, consolidating the locations marks a logical and strategic step toward accelerating response times and strengthening customer relationships.
Andrew Larsen Appointed Sales Director North America
To further elevate customer support, the company has appointed Andrew Larsen as Sales Director, responsible for all sales activities in North America. Larsen will focus on high growth markets including defense and aerospace, medical technology, and quantum technology. At the same time, LASER COMPONENTS continues to expand its product portfolio to deliver perfectly tailored solutions for a wide range of applications.
