Our COUNT series photon counters just entered the market and already they have made a name for themselves. The 70% quantum efficiency in the red spectral range which has not been achieved until now has excited our customers – and there is already talk about the significantly higher quantum efficiency in the green and blue spectral ranges that no other manufacturer has achieved. You can count on the COUNT for measurements in the entire wavelength range from 400-1000 nm – whether in spectroscopy, fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM), confocal fluorescence microscopy, single molecule detection, particle sizing (SMD), fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS), or quantum cryptography.
Accessories
COUNT PSU. To easily and safely operate the photon counter, a small and inexpensive voltage supply was developed with the COUNT PSU. It delivers a stable voltage of 12 V and is protected against both surges and short circuits.
DSN102. The DSN102 can control two detectors and monitor their functions at the same time. The two-channel voltage supply also has a built-in counter that displays the counting rate and an automatic protective circuit. When operating the photon counter, care is taken not to damage the counter by overexposure to light. If a critical amount of light is exceeded, the counter is disconnected from the voltage supply and an acoustic warning is sounded. The DSN102 is available as a stand-alone model or as an OEM assembly module for a 19” subrack.
Fiber Connection. The COUNT is also available with a fiber connection and fiber. The optical fiber is completely opaque; it does not allow any scattered light to enter that could affect the counting result. Multimode fibers are available in a core diameter of 50, 62.5, and 100 µm and are simply connected to the module. At the fiber tip, either FC/PC or SMA connectors can be mounted. Upon request, we also assemble your fiber according to your specific requirements.
