Squared Fibers
Fibers with a rectangular or square fiber core (squared fibers) allow for efficient coupling of lasers with a corresponding beam profile - for example if you want to achieve a top-hat profile. Over short distances, the rectangular core shape produces a homogeneous signal with a good mode mix without the use of any additional optics.
LASER COMPONENTS assembles these fibers with all common connectors. Using a special assembly method, we align the fiber to the positioning nose of the D80 connector.
