Pulsed Laser Diodes

All of our PLDs are developed and manufactured at our LASER COMPONENTS production facility in Canada. Customer-specific requests can, therefore, easily be accommodated.

 

  • 1550UA Series 1550 nm High-Volume Low-Cost
    UA series pulsed laser diodes are high quality diodes hermetically sealed in a TO-56 metal housing. Produced in large quantities, they can compete in price with PLDs in a plastic housing.

IR Detectors

LASER COMPONENTS produces photodiodes in house at our production facility in Arizona. They have been available on the market since 2013 and offer a strong cost-performance ratio.

 

  • IG26H-Series - Extended InGaAs Photodiodes (High Shunt Resistance)
    The IG26H Series is a PIN photodiode for spectroscopic and radiometric applications that benefit from reverse bias operation. The IG26H Series merges the benefits of high shunt resistance and high responsivity over a broad spectral range.

  • FLEXPOINT® MVpulseHP laser module for Machine Vision 
    The FLEXPOINT® MVpulseHP laser module provides up to 1000 mW of power in a compact housing at 19 mm in diameter. The pulse length and duty cycle of the pulsed module are preset at the factory to prevent the laser diode from overheating.

  • FLEXPOINT® HD positioning laser with very long line
    The new FLEXPOINT® HD generates a red or green laser line of up to 20 meters with uniform intensity. The robust casing achieves protection class IP67 and allows individual and fast integration. Thanks to the M12 connector, the module can be easily connected to the supply voltage. Fixed or variable focus can be selected as an option.

Network Technology

Fiber-optical splices of the highest quality are carried out using special laboratory machines. Our partner, Furukawa Fitel, offers splicers for use in the laboratory. Splices produced with these devices have a particularly low attenuation, which is important for medical applications, high-power lasers, and fiber lasers alike.

 

  • S185 EDV ROF - 3-Axis Splicers
    The S185EDV ROF is a Ring of Fire® splicing device for optical fibers with complex core structures such as hollow core fibers or multicore fibers. The End View System allows precise alignment of these fibers as well.
