Quality Management

Our Quality Standards Know no Bounds

All of LASER COMPONENTS’ production facilities are ISO 9001 certified, yet our idea of quality management goes far beyond mere compliance with standards.

Quality Management

at LASER COMPONENTS

All LASER COMPONENTS production facilities are certified to ISO 9001. However, our commitment to quality extends far beyond standards and certifications. Quality is achieved when clear objectives, robust processes, and responsible conduct come together across departments and locations. It shapes both our day-to-day collaboration and the way we manage customer requirements, changes, and continuous improvement.

Quality Begins with the Right Mindset

Measuring, testing, calibrating, documenting, and auditing are essential activities. At LASER COMPONENTS, however, they represent only a small part of our approach to quality management. What matters most is the mindset behind them: Quality is a matter of attitude and an integral part of our corporate culture. It begins with leadership and shapes the way every employee thinks and acts.

Quality as the Foundation of Our Customers’ Success

We believe that quality is the foundation of every successful customer relationship, and this applies to more than just our products. LASER COMPONENTS also stands out for its expert advice, fast response times, reliable commitments, and professional handling of irregularities. We strive not only to meet our customers’ expectations but to exceed them. Consistent processes and long-term trust are the keys to our shared success.

Prevention Rather than Correction

Our goal is to prevent problems before they arise. That is why we rely on clearly defined, cross-site processes, structured quality management, and advanced monitoring methods. At the same time, we continuously learn from experience and improve the way we work. Processes are planned, implemented, and reviewed, and the resulting insights are incorporated into the next planning phase.

Every Employee Understands Our Customers and Their Needs

Our commitment to quality does not stop at departmental boundaries. Every task is part of a supply chain: What we do affects our colleagues in other departments and at other locations, and ultimately our customers. To ensure successful collaboration and create sustainable value for our customers, we consistently align our processes with customer requirements, specifications, and clearly defined responsibilities.

Quality Requires Responsibility

We believe that quality is not the responsibility of a select few, but of everyone. When asked, “Who is responsible for quality?” each of us should be able to answer, “I am.” Mistakes happen. What matters is how we handle them: openly, constructively, and without assigning blame. This is how we learn from our mistakes, continuously improve our processes, and strengthen our shared culture of quality.

Clear Processes, Measurable Quality

Quality is achieved when processes are not left to chance but are robust, repeatable, and measurable. That is why we think in terms of process chains. Standards, responsibilities, and inspection procedures are documented in a cross-site business system. This enables us to manage requirements effectively, identify deviations at an early stage, and drive improvements systematically.

Quality Policy

Quality is an attitude and starts in your mind

  • Quality is the foundation to enable the future success of our customers
  • We act to prevent rather than react to correct
  • Every employee understands who their customer is and what their requirements are
  • Every employee takes responsibility for their own actions and thus actively contributes to continuous improvement
  • Our Business System describes what we do. It ensures robust and efficient processes across all locations and allows us to turn actions into success
