Today is the International Day of Light. As a provider of customized optical components and laser solutions, we are taking this date as an opportunity to highlight the pivotal role that light plays in modern technology and research.
There is hardly any area of life where optical and optoelectronic technologies are not involved. Starting at the supermarket counter and ending in space with communication between satellites. In keeping with our company motto “beyond borders”, we work every day to push the boundaries of photonics even further. We work in close cooperation with our customers to turn light into innovative solutions for materials processing, medical technology, optical data transmission and many other industrial sectors. Our components are turning visions of the future into reality, for example in the development of self-driving cars, quantum computers and new methods for early cancer detection.
