Food and Drink Help Keep the Team Spirit Alive

A strong community and a positive corporate culture are important ingredients in LASER COMPONENTS' recipe for success. Shared meals help to foster this sense of togetherness. We deliberately encourage this feeling at our locations in Germany and the USA. 

It all began with the free company lunch, which has become a cherished tradition at the Olching site. Decades ago, when LASER COMPONENTS Germany still had less than 50 employees, we made sure that our employees could always get a warm meal, even in the industrial park.  

Every day from Monday to Friday, employees can choose from two dishes: a meat or fish option and a vegetarian alternative. Apart from classics such as currywurst or spaghetti bolognese, the menu also offers more unusual creations to keep things varied. In summer, everyone is looking forward to the traditional Wednesday barbecue on the outdoor terrace. When the sun is out, this is the right place to enjoy the culinary variety in a relaxed summer atmosphere. 

The company lunch is much more than just an opportunity to satisfy your hunger. It is a space for encounters and exchanges - regardless of department or hierarchy. Valuable conversations, new ideas and an even closer working relationship are created around the common table. 

This spirit can also be felt at our US sites in Chandler, AZ and Bedford, NH, where we included a social room when planning the new building, where employees can heat up their own meals and eat them on the company's own porcelain tableware. Colleagues in the USA found this to be an absolute new concept, one that proved very popular right from the start. And as is to be expected, the joint BBQ is now a firm institution here too - usually combined with a relaxing game of basketball.
