LASER COMPONENTS Detector Group is proud to announce the opening of its new 29,000 square foot state of the art facility. The company moved to its new location in Chandler, AZ, after a year of construction. Optoelectronic components for key technologies such as medical and autonomous driving will be manufactured. The new building comfortably accommodates 80 employees, and 200 in a three-shift rotation.
In addition, excellence in leadership is key. “We are able to meet the ever-increasing demand for our technologies, creating a basis of growth for the future,” said Raj Chakraborty, site manager, as Dragan Grubisic, co-founder, continues on in a special project development role.
The ISO class facility cleanrooms have air locks in the entrance area and passageways for material transfer, ensuring strict particle control. The floor, work stations, and cleanroom clothing are protected against electrostatic discharge in accordance with all regulations. Elements used at our headquarters in Germany, are a hallmark to our LASER COMPONENTS brand.
The Detector Group develops and manufactures semiconductor detectors, specializing in silicon and InGaAs avalanche photodiodes, pyroelectric detectors, and PbS/PbSe-, InAs, and InGaAs photodiodes. “The new production center is a clear commitment to the metropolitan Phoenix area,” stated Patrick Paul, CEO of the LASER COMPONENTS Group. “We look forward to continued innovation in such an exciting and dynamic environment.”
