The high speed InGaAs photodiodes are manufactured using planar passivation technology, the photosensitive surfaces of our photodiodes are broadband AR coated.
The available sensitive surfaces range from 50, 80, 100, 150 and 300 µm.
Depending on the size, the fast InGaAs photodiodes are mounted on alumina base plates, mini-pigtails, TO18-TO46 packages or ST, SC or FC connectors.
Special products
We offer photodiode arrays, optical converters and optical receivers.
Fast Optical Converters
BNOC and SMA-OC optical converters provide practical solutions for displaying optical signals on any instrument with BNC or SMA input.
Fast photodiodes mounted on BNC or SMA connectors convert any optical signal directly into an electrical signal. Versions with fiber optic pigtail are also part of the standard program.
Strip
The FD50DA, FD80DA and FD140DA series of high-speed digital strips are designed for multi-channel fiber applications with a standard pitch of 0.25 mm. These high-speed InGaAs photodiodes are monolithically integrated into arrays of 1x n elements. The anode is located on the top of the chip surface, while the backside forms the common cathode. The active surface is non-reflective. The individual characteristics correspond to those of the mono elements of the FD50, FD80 and FD150 series.
Fast optical receiver
The FRL2003DS series combines a MAXIMUM3864E/D preamplifier with a fast InGaAs PIN photodiode in a compact TO46 package. The angle-polished single-mode fiber pigtail provides an optical input with low retroreflection. For applications between 950 and 1650 nm.
