Fiber Optic Sensor Assemblies Fiber Optic Sensor Assemblies
Assembled Optical Fiber Bundles

Optical fiber bundles for sensor applications consist of arranged fibers.

Broad Spectrum Optical Fibers

Broadband fibers support wavelengths from the UV to near infrared range.

They are ideal for spectroscopy.
Hollow silica waveguide Hollow silica waveguide
Hollow-Core Fibers for CO2 and Erbium:YAG

Hollow-core fibers for CO2 wavelengths between 9 μm and 11 μm. At 10.6 µm, the typical attenuation is less than 0.5 dB/m.

Hollow silica waveguide Hollow silica waveguide
Hollow-Core Fibers for Er:YAG Lasers

Fibers with optimum transmission properties at an Er:YAG wavelength of 2940 nm are mainly used in applications in medical technology.

IR Fiber Optic Cables IR Fiber Optic Cables
Patchcords for CO2 Lasers

CO2 lasers are used in laser material processing and medical applications for the cutting and ablation of tissue because they do not cause bleeding.

Patchcords for Er:YAG Lasers

Er:YAG lasers with a wavelength of 2940 nm are mainly used in dermatology, dentistry, and other special applications. Special fiber cables are used for nearly loss-free power transmission.

UV Fibers

New Possibilities: UV LEDs and lasers are more cost effective than deuterium and xenon lamps.

As a result, optical fibers are becoming more and more interesting for UV transmission.
UV-VIS Fibers

Step-index fibers optimized for ultraviolet and visible wavelengths are often referred to as high-OH fibers.

VIS-NIR Fibers

Standard and dual-clad step-index fibers with a low-OH core for wavelengths between 650 nm and 1900 nm.
