Welcome,
A lot has happened since our last U.S. edition of Photonics News. First, while celebrating our 40th anniversary in 2022, we introduced a new logo. Our new brand identity visualizes our personal interpretation of Snell’s law and incorporates our claim »beyond borders«. At LASER COMPONENTS USA, we embrace our corporate mission of providing our customers with solutions that give them the greatest freedom to answer their complex challenges.
All around the world we see many headwinds from war, continued supply chain issues, high inflation, energy shortages … It seems one crisis occurs after another. Still, LASER COMPONENTS continues to see growth. The additions of several new sales staff in the U.S. brings the total number of employees to over 270 worldwide. Globally, we saw 20% revenue growth in 2022. This is all a testament to our employees and their focused efforts on supporting customers.
Nevertheless, we see some potential challenges in workforce and filling key roles over the next few years. Skilled people in the photonics industry are key to our growth. Whether they are engineers, production operators or sales staff – we are dedicated to bringing in the best people to grow with us.
