Pulsable thermal emitters from Infrasolid are particularly suited for FT-IR spectroscopy and NDIR gas analysis. They offer broadband infrared radiation up to at least 15 µm with high radiant power, in an open or hermetic TO housing. Patented nanostructure layers are applied to both sides of the emitter. A gold-plated reflector makes sure that radiation emitted from the back is also put to use. This results in up to 500 % more emitting power than similar emitters which allows for more accurate analysis in shorter measurement cycles.
An open emitter offers wide spectral measuring ranges, while hermetically sealed packages enable new possibilities: A range of high-quality filter windows and gas filling options allows them to be optimized for customer-specific applications. Moreover, these emitters are able to operate under harsh conditions from -25 to +85°C.
Meeting the growing demand for higher performing gas sensors, Infrasolid’s light sources help enable life-saving solutions in environmental protection, health awareness, and safety applications.
