Infrasolid IR Emitters
Infrared radiation sources by Infrasolid are pulsable thermal emitters with near-black-body emittance. Their free-standing monolithic radiating elements with nanostructured surfaces are manufactured using a patented process and offer numerous practical advantages.
Gold-plated reflectors direct the radiation forward for maximum efficiency. In addition, the emitters feature a minimum drift at constant resistance (ohms). The low temperature coefficient of their resistance facilitates electrical control of the emitters. Advanced package technology with soldered sapphire, CaF₂ and BaF₂ windows enables use in a wide temperature range from -25 °C to +85 °C.

Suitable Detectors
for our IR Emitters
PbS Detectors detect infrared radiation in the wavelength range between 1 µm and 3.3 µm.
Polycrystalline lead selenide (PbSe) is a standard semiconductor detector with a sensitivity of between 1 µm and 5.2 µm.
Pyroelectric crystals generate positive and negative charge carriers simultaneously on opposing sides.
Single channel pyroelectric detectors made of LiTaO3 are available for current mode (CM). They are used for gas detection and flame detection.
Multi-channel pyrodetectors: dual-channel, triple-channel and quad-channel versions are available.
DLaTGS detectors exhibit the most effective pyroelectric effect known. Their major application is FTIR.
