Design Engineer for precision mechanical components

For our own technology areas at the Olching site near Munich, we are looking for a 

Design Engineer (m/f/d) for precision mechanical components

"Owner-managed medium-sized family business" - that's us! - LASER COMPONENTS is the company for optical and optoelectronic solutions, which we have been developing together with our customers and selling all over the world for over 40 years. We are expanding and are looking for support.

• Selection, design and construction of mechanical assemblies and individual parts for production on CNC lathes and milling machines 
• Creation and modification of technical drawings in 2D (TurboCAD) and 3D (SolidWorks and Solid Edge) as well as special plans and detailed drawings 
• Coordination of internal requirements and with suppliers

• Successfully completed training as a technical designer, CAD designer/draughtsman, ideally with additional qualification as a designer for CNC technology 
• Confident use of 3D CAD programs SolidWorks and Solid Edge as well as 2D TurboCAD 
• Experience in dealing with common standards in mechanics  
• Experience in the use of CNC lathes and milling machines as well as knowledge of tool and fixture construction are advantageous 
• Independent and precise way of working
