All PON connections must comply with current industry standards.
When installing passive optical networks (PON), the on-site qualification of the connection determines the subsequent signal quality of the fiber optic network. Micro-kinks, poor splices, dirty or damaged connectors are the most common sources of error in these access networks.
The power level measurements during installation ensure that the signal quality meets the network operator’s specifications. The test devices in this category provide you with fast and reliable pass/fail diagnostics for all common standards (e.g., ITU-T G.983/4 or IEEE 802.3ah). A DTAG test kit, with which you can be sure that your fiber optic connections comply with the specifications of Deutsche Telekom’s ZTV-43, and much more is also included.
