OLP-88 - Real-Time Measurement in GPON Networks

PON Power Meter OLP-87/87P

The OLP-87 from Viavi Solutions is the ideal power level meter for activation, fault diagnosis and maintenance of FTTx/PON transmission links. It is especially designed for next generation B-PON, E-PON, G-PON and 10G-PON high-speed networks such as XG-PON and 10G-EPON. In a single compact solution, this SmartClass Fiber instrument provides high performance, wavelength-selective FTTx/PON level measurements with fiber end face inspection and pass/fail result displays. In pass-through mode, it can simultaneously measure downstream signals at 1490 nm, 1550 nm and 1578 nm as well as 1270 nm and 1310 nm in upstream.

SmartPocket OLP-37 – RFoG and PON Power Meter

Viavi Solutions’ SmartPocket OLP-37 is designed for wavelength-selective optical power measurements, which are carried out during the activation and maintenance of passive optical networks (PONs) and radio frequency over glass (RFoG) networks. For B-PONs, E-PONs, and G-PONs, it enables pass/fail testing according to ITU-T G.983/4 and IEEE 802.3ah. RFoG systems are measured according to SCTE 174 2010. It is also possible to make an analysis according to user-defined thresholds.

With only four buttons, this robust measuring instrument is easy and intuitive to operate without extensive training.
