Tempo's Fiber Trainer provides you with a compact and user-friendly platform that has been specially developed for training fiber optic technicians: 

Realistic simulations 
Faulty connectors, a Macrobend or a damaged fiber optic cable - the loss events simulated by the Fiber Trainer correspond to scenarios that technicians are also confronted with in their daily work. This gives you the opportunity to practice troubleshooting and repair in "dry training". 

Typical fiber optic connection 
Performing OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometry) measurements is a complex subject that requires a lot of practice. With the Fiber Trainer's 1 km fiber link, technicians learn to set up an OTDR as well as test and evaluate the link - a critical skill for effective maintenance and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks. 

Splicing exercises 
In the training platform you will find fibers to which your technicians can apply as many practice splices as they need to make this task second nature. This routine will pay off in daily use. 

Loss testing 
The ends of the fiber coils are fitted with connectors so that future technicians can easily learn how to measure fusion splice loss and ensure that connections meet the applicable standards.
