SmartClass™ Fiber MPOLx (MPO Optical Loss Test Sets)

The SmartClass™ fiber MPOLx from VIAVI is the first available optical attenuation measurement set that has all options available for the qualification and certification of MTP/MPO-based networks.

The MPOLx system contains a light source and a power meter for the qualification of links. This facilitates an automated, fast, and efficient workflow for testing and qualifying optical MTP networks. In this version, a comparable measuring device is not currently available on the market. The length of the path, the optical loss/attenuation, the polarity of the connection, and the connector surfaces of the MTP-based connectors are tested according to IEC.
With these results, a complete certification report can be generated.
