with LASER COMPONENTS
- A comprehensive portfolio that covers all aspects of photonics, like emitters, transmission and reflection through optics, fiber optics, and detectors, all sourced from one reliable partner.
- No matter the application, our experts can help you find the best solution, with tailored components manufactured across our global network of production sites.
- Our optical coating technology, paired with in-house pulsed laser diodes (PLDs) that can be customized to various specifications, even with integrated micro-optics, and detectors that can be adapted to any wavelength from 250 nm to 1700 nm.
- Our components are particularly advantageous for high sensitivity and low noise requirements. With avalanche photodiodes (APDs), like the IAG Series that can reach a gain of 30, they are particularly well suited to low light environments. As well as infrared detectors like our Advance LTO Infrared Detectors that have great thermal performance and trusted stability of LTO while offering four times better responsivity that leading competitors, reaching closer to DLaTGS technology.
Areas of Use

Laboratory Diagnostics
Many clinical applications as well as scientific research depend on pyroelectric, PbS / PbSe, and InGaAs detectors to have consistent performance across various challenging conditionsas long runtimes of experiments or the need to operate in unique situations. This is exceptionally important for use in FTIR spectroscopy, non-invasive procedures, and biomedical technology.

Material Analysis
The chemical composition of liquids often undergoes material analysis through spectroscopy, and that is where the PR Series - IR THz Receivers offers precise measurements through an intuitive plug-and-play design. Engineered to make FTIR more accessible with a selection of multiple models to meet the needs of various laboratory settings.
For components used in food inspection, InGaAs photodiodes offer excellent spectral response to ensure that contaminants are quickly detected. For ready-to-use receivers in the laboratory, to components that make accurate devices, LASER COMPONENTS is ready to support.

Gas Analysis
A simple technique for gas analysis involves a detector, infrared source, some IR filters, and measurement cell. This method called, non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) is especially useful when combined with pyroelectric detectors that can be equipped with one channel or multiple channels. When these detectors are paired with the proper filters, they can allow for gas to be analyzed even if there is low concentration in the chamber.
