Sales Account Manager – Optics (U.S. Market)

We’re seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to drive U.S. sales growth for high-performance coated laser optics and photonics components. This role combines technical sales, customer relationship management, and strategic market development.

LASER COMPONENTS USA, Inc. is expanding! We’re part of the global Laser Components Group, a leading manufacturer of laser components, coated optics, and photonics products. Our U.S. operation supports OEM customers across medical, industrial, defense, semiconductor, and research markets — providing advanced optical solutions and responsive technical support. 

• Lead sales of laser optics, polarizers, and related photonics components across multiple U.S. industries. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, integrators, and distributors. 
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in key markets such as medical devices, industrial lasers, defense systems, and semiconductor equipment. 
• Execute a U.S.-centric sales strategy focused on market growth, customer support, and long-term partnerships. 
• Provide technical consultation, prepare quotations, and negotiate contracts. 
• Represent LASER COMPONENTS USA at major industry trade shows and conferences. 
• Collaborate closely with internal product and engineering teams to deliver customized optical solutions. 
• Maintain detailed activity tracking and reporting in Salesforce CRM. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Optics, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred). 
• 10+ years of OEM account management experience in coated optics, photonics, or laser technology. 
• Proven success in technical sales with complex, high-value components. 
• Strong understanding of optical coatings, laser damage thresholds, polarization, and wavelength optimization. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office (including Teams). 
• Willingness to travel (approx. 30–50%) within North America.
