S218R - The Optical Fiber Stripper
The thermal fiber stripper by FITEL was designed for use in field applications. It contains an integrated battery that allows use for up to 10 hours. Thermal devices are much gentler on fibers than mechanical fiber strippers, thus allowing a tensile strength of more than 20 N to be achieved. This is a prerequisite for high-strength splicing!
