The OP1100 discontinuity analyzer is an autonomous fiber optic test system for detecting and recording fiber optic breaks.
The OP1100 is a uniquely designed measuring device for the precise detection of fiber-optic breaks and signal dropouts. Several (12/24) channels can be monitored simultaneously and breaks/dropouts quickly and precisely detected and recorded at high resolution (e.g., in the rail sector). The data is recorded in a fast data logger; this makes it possible to retrace the path of the dropout to better understand its cause.
This device also makes it possible to test a wide base of passive and active optical components and assemblies (signal dropouts, transient output, and transmittance fluctuations).
It is also possible to carry out testing under such conditions as temperature fluctuations, vibrations, and physical shock.
