G&H’s acousto-optic Q-switches are designed to generate high-intensity laser pulses by actively controlling the Q-factor of a laser cavity. The product range covers wavelengths from approximately 1030 nm to 2100 nm and includes models with active apertures from less than 1 mm up to 8 mm. Depending on the series, devices operate at frequencies between 24 MHz and 80 MHz and use crystalline quartz or fused silica as optical materials. Both conduction-cooled and water-cooled versions are available, supporting a broad range of beam diameters, laser powers, and polarization states. Dedicated RF drivers with advanced synchronization and control functions are offered for optimum system integration.
