The classic among laser diodes, they are available in a large variety and usually ex stock.

CW Laser Diodes

The classic laser diode emits in the red spectral range from 635 nm to 680 nm. Depending on the field of application and required specifications, we can provide you with a suitable laser diode with a power range from 3 mW to 4 W.

We offer both the smallest and top-selling CD housings available on the market - 3.3 mm and 5.6 mm housings, respectively. We also have C/CT mount diodes available. Upon request, we can fibre couple your diode.

Mass markets such as CD and DVD players make it possible to offer high-quality 655 nm laser diodes with a power range from 3 mW to 50 mW at low prices. They are also often used in measurement and sensor technology.

Laser diodes that emit at 635 nm are primarily used in laser pointers and display systems. The human eye is almost three times more sensitive to laser diodes at this wavelength than to laser diodes at 655 nm with comparable power.

APC laser diodes that have their drive electronics already integrated into a 5.6 mm or 3.3 mm housing are quite innovative because they make it possible to design very small and compact laser pointers and industrial lasers.

Our most powerful laser diode emits 4 W. This broad-stripe multi-mode laser diode is extremely efficient (0.8 W/A) and has a low wavelength / temperature dependency. The peak wavelength emits in the range from 631 nm to 635 nm. This diode is used in photodynamic therapy, medical imaging and diagnostic systems, DPSS laser displays, illumination, and process controlling.
