Mirrors for high-power lasers are high-precision optical components that direct or focus the laser beam. For this purpose, flat or curved substrates are coated several times with dielectric materials in order to achieve high reflectivity and durability. LASER COMPONENTS can manufacture mirrors for any wavelength in the range from 248 nm to 3000 nm.
Flat mirrors: Flat mirrors are coated for two angles of incidence (AOI): AOI = 0° for use as end mirrors and AOI = 45° for use as deflection mirrors. Other angles of incidence are also possible.
Concave mirrors: Due to their concave shape, concave mirrors play a decisive role in laser systems. They are generally used because of their ability to reflect light inwards and bundle the beams onto a specific focal point. This allows the laser beam to be effectively focused and directed, enabling precise and targeted applications in various photonic processes. Concave mirrors are often used in resonators.
Individual adaptations according to customer requirements: other angles of incidence, as well as other wavelength ranges, can also be manufactured on the desired substrate upon request. We will be happy to advise you.
