Filters for Machine Vision

Bandpass filters specially tailored to the requirements of machine vision.

Tuned to the Laser Wavelength

In machine vision (MV), bandpass filters ensure that the camera records the most accurate signals with the lowest possible background noise. These filters allow only the wavelength of the light source to pass. Transmission is >90% with passbands of typically 20 nm or 40 nm.

To achieve perfect imaging performance, the MV filters must meet various quality characteristics: Residual light is suppressed with >OD 5 (residual transmission <0.001%) to ensure an optimal signal-to-noise ratio. Anti-reflective substrates prevent back reflections and single substrates make sure that hardly any ghost images are created.

We offer suitable filters for all wavelengths of our FLEXPOINT® MV line laser modules – 405 / 450 / 520 / 532 / 635 / 660 / 785 nm and of course each other needed wavelength is customized possible.
A special hard coating ensures that the transmission characteristics remain unchanged for many years.
