Bandpass filters improve contrast by allowing wavelengths within a certain range to be transmitted while blocking those outside of the pass band.
Narrow-band filters block the interference signals and transmit signals from the light source in very narrow bands.
Ultimately, narrow-band filters belong to the group of band-pass filters, which means that a defined passband is transmitted while all other wavelengths are simultaneously blocked. Our filter designs are particularly unique because we can produce passbands of <1 nm and still achieve, thanks to a special monitoring process, transmissions of 90%. Without an additional blocking element, extraneous light is suppressed in the range from 200 nm to 1200 nm.
