GHz Wideband Amplifier

With both fixed and variable (20dB steps from 20dB to 60dB) gain GHz amplifiers available, these HSA High-Speed Amplifier series offer a well-balanced combination of high gain, wide bandwidth up to 2GHz and low noise making them ideal for time-resolved measurements with ultra-fast photodetectors. The compact housing design with threaded M4 and 8-32 holes allows easy integration in all optical bench systems. Included is a Bias-T that accepts high cw-power and guarantees optimum signal-to-noise-ratio with very good 50Ω matching, ideal for high level DC current that can be is generated in the detector.

Variable-gain ultra-wideband GHz amplifier DUPVA series for up to 1.2 GHz

The Ultra-Wideband Voltage Amplifiers Series DUPVA-1 is designed for fast and precision measurements with large dynamic range. Gain can be adjusted by the local gain selector or via an opto-isolated remote control interface. The gain independent frequency response guarantees for precise time resolved measurements at any gain setting. No significant change in rise time will occur when changing the gain setting which is essential for reliable time resolved measurements. Additionally, the frequency response is optimised for being very flat over the full frequency range. No gain peaking or significant distortion will occur in pulse and transient measurements.

Applications include: Oscilloscope and Transient Recorder Preamplifier, Photomultiplier amplifier, microchannel plate amplifier, Time-Resolved Pulse and Transient Measurements, Automated Measurement Systems, particle speed measurements.
