VIAVI introduced a new category of compact, non-display handheld testers that combine multiple test interfaces, including tests to deploy PON networks and distribute services within buildings via PON, Ethernet, and high-end WLAN interfaces. The advantage is the simple validation of the network, as well as the verification of high bit-rate Gigabit services at the touch of a button.
Test sequences are accelerated without the need for any special qualification to operate the device. Documentation is created in less than a minute: it contains the transmission performance of the network and services with a clear delimitation or isolation of all errors.
The NSC-100 can be operated via the VIAVI mobile tech app; it can also be used in conjunction with other measuring and test equipment to extend its range of functions, such as the MTS-2000 V2, MTS-4000 V2, MTS-5800, and Fusion platforms. Reports can be generated internally, sent to the cloud (Stratasync), or sent via e-mail.
