GI MM Fibers

Muli-mode Fibers with graded index

Graded-index multimode (GI/MM) fibers are engineered to reduce signal distortion by smoothly varying the refractive index across the core, enabling better performance over longer distances.

Two different GI-MM fiber variants are available: For harsh environments, GI/MM fibers with ruggedized coatings offer enhanced durability against physical stress, temperature fluctuations, and chemical exposure. Additionally, pure silica core multimode fibers provide superior resistance to radiation, making them well-suited for industrial and aerospace applications where both performance and reliability are critical.
