APDs and PLDs for Your Measurements

Distance sensors are operated with pulsed laser diodes at wavelengths of 905 nm and with corresponding detectors. Avalanche photodiodes (APDs) detect even weak signals and are, therefore, preferably used.

Laser Components manufactures both components and recently introduced an APD array which is ideally suited for laser scanners at Photonics West. Under the web code provided, you will find datasheets on the suitable time-of-flight components.
