LASER COMPONENTS Detector Group's new company building in Chandler, AZ has been named a finalist for the 2021 RED Real Estate and Development Awards.
The awards honor commercial and public development projects in the state of Arizona. In addition to size and location, the jury of adjudicators evaluates architecture, design, and construction. In addition, other important award criteria are the economic impact of the project and its significance within the community. The awards will be presented at a virtual live event on March 11, 2021.
The new building, measuring 29,0000 sq. ft., serves as a development and production facility for optoelectronic components. It offers space for up to 200 employees in a three shift rotation. Nearly half of it is taken up by ISO class clean rooms.
Ann McSherry, event organizer for AZ BigMedia, sees the nomination as a compliment to the strong leadership LASER COMPONENTS displayed in seeing this project through to completion, with the many challenges we all faced in 2020.
"We are pleased that our building project is a significant step for our company, said CEO Patrick Paul. At all of our locations, LASER COMPONENTS continually sees itself as an active part of our economic and social communities around the globe."
