Kentek's SERVICE-RIGHT® Portable FLEX-GUARD® can be deployed in any situation without permanent laser protection. The protective screens can be quickly set up for welding work or machine maintenance and then stowed away in the carrying bag to save space after use. Thus, all laser safety requirements can be complied with anytime and anywhere. LASER COMPONENTS will present this practical equipment on January 14 and 15, 2026, at the Bavarian Laser Safety Days in Nuremberg.
The black protective fabric of the SERVICE-RIGHT® barriers is certified according to EN 12254 and provides reliable protection for 100 seconds against laser power up to 425 W/cm². It is designed for wavelengths of 190–10,600 nm and certified at 1070 nm. Each barrier consists of three panels with a standard size of 0.9 m × 1.82 m (W × H). The individual walls can be connected using either zippers or Velcro fasteners. At a total weight of 19 kg, the barrier is easy to transport in the supplied carrying bag and can be quickly set up on site.
