As a trainee at LASER COMPONENTS you can look forward to the following:
You will be integrated into the daily processes right from the start and get to know different areas of the company during your training. This will enable you to quickly identify where your personal strengths lie. In addition, we offer you the opportunity to expand your knowledge in inter-company measures, training courses, and workshops.
Throughout your training, your instructors will be on hand to help and advise you. They will get to know you personally and can prepare you individually for your professional life.

- What requirements do I need to start an apprenticeship at LASER COMPONENTS?
For all apprenticeships at LASER COMPONENTS, you should have a very good secondary school certificate or an intermediate school diploma. But good grades aren’t everything: your personality matters, too. We want to make sure you’re a good fit for our team.
- Can I do an internship before applying?
Yes — an internship is a great way to get to know each other. You can find out whether an apprenticeship with us is right for you, and we can see if you’re a good fit for our team. Just ask or apply for an internship, and we’ll take care of the rest together.
- Can I apply even if I haven’t finished school yet?
Absolutely! Apprenticeships usually start in September, and many positions are posted 8–10 months in advance. If you already know that you’ll graduate before the apprenticeship begins, you can apply earlier. That’s actually a smart move – after all, the early bird catches the worm.
- How do I apply for an apprenticeship with you?
Just send us your application by email or use our contact form. Tell us why you want to start an apprenticeship with us and why we should choose you. If we like your application, we’ll get in touch and invite you to an interview or on a get-to-know-you day. If these occasions show us that you’re a good match for us, you’ll receive an apprenticeship contract from us.
- What does a typical day look like for an apprentice at your company?
From day one, you’ll be an integrated part of the teams you are going to work with during your apprenticeship. That’s the best way to learn what really matters. Your training supervisor will give you tasks that match your current skill level. As you improve, you’ll take on more responsibility. Of course, your apprenticeship will also include time spent both on the job and in vocational school.
- Are there regular feedback meetings during the training program?
Yes – absolutely. Throughout your training, you’ll receive regular feedback from your trainer. These conversations aren’t just about your technical progress. We’ll also talk about what’s already going well and where you can continue to grow. This way, you’ll always have a clear idea of where you stand and how you can keep improving
- What happens if I have questions or problems?
That’s a normal part of any apprenticeship. Just talk to your trainer — in most cases, they’ll be happy to help you. We want you to learn and feel comfortable with us. Don’t be afraid to ask!
- Do you offer any special benefits for trainees?
We’re always looking for ways to support our trainees as much as possible. This can include different subsidies and benefits, such as a travel allowance. The best way to learn what’s available for you is to talk with us directly – we’re happy to go over the options together.
- What happens after I finish my apprenticeship?
Ideally, you’ll stay with LASER COMPONENTS. Many of our former apprentices continued working with us after completing their training. Some of them have been working here for over 20 years and benefit from the professional development opportunities at LASER COMPONENTS. If you’re interested, we’ll also support you in your career path.
- What does a typical career path look like?
Many of our former trainees stay with the company after completing their training – some for many years. If you’re motivated and eager to grow, you can gradually take on more responsibility, specialize in a specific area, or move into new roles within the company. Your path will mainly depend on your interests, strengths, and goals.
