Long-range laser modules for applications at long distances are new in LASER COMPONENTS’ product portfolio. These new FP-LR-635-series lasers start where others leave off – at applications with ranges over 10 meters.
In the range from 10 m to 100 m, beam diameters of 1.5 mm to 15 mm can be achieved. The laser modules are thus predestined for alignment applications across long assembly lines, to aim at distant target points, in tunnel construction, or in the construction of walls, fences, and the like.
These modules are equipped with bright red 635 nm laser diodes and have an output power of 1 mW or 5 mW. Any voltage source of 4.5-30 VDC can be used. The integrated electronics, which are protected against reverse polarity, provide a constantly bright projection at all voltages. A battery pack, including a recharger and a feed cable to the laser, are available as accessories. This makes wireless operation of approximately 8 hours possible.
