The whole QE series
Gentec-EO’s QE series energy meters feature the highest damage threshold possible at a simultaneously high repetition rate. QE detectors are available in apertures from 12 x 12 mm to 95 mm in diameter. For other dimensions please contact us directly!
Coatings
There are 2 different coatings for these detectors:
- The metallic MT coating is suitable for lasers with a high repetition rate of up to a maximum of 10 kHz (depending on model).
- The multiband MB coating has the highest damage threshold of all energy meters of its class.
QED Attenuator for QE Energy Detectors
All QE series laser energy detectors can be equipped with an additional QED attenuator. This significantly increases the maximum permissible energy. The permissible energy density is increased to the same extent; a damage threshold of 8 J/cm² at 1064 nm (7 nx, 10 Hz) is thus possible. The additional use of a passive heat sink again significantly increases the maximum permissible average power to up to 90 W (depending on the model). The maximum measurable energy is 250 J (single shot).
