We are seeking a full-time
Business Development Manager m/f/d (BDM)
to join our US Sales team, for a remote position with travel expectations. The LASER COMPONENTS USA sales office is located at our Chandler, Arizona facility where LASER COMPONENTS also manufactures our detector portfolio.
Your Job AT Laser Components
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets (defense, aerospace, medical, industrial, research)
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline to support revenue growth targets
- Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and translate into product solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
- Collaborate with Product Managers and factory teams (U.S. and international)
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM
- Support strategic initiatives including new product introductions and market expansion
- Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events
- Ensure alignment with company pricing, margin, and commercial policies
What you bring with you
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales (photonics, optics, lasers preferred)
- Demonstrated success in new business development
- Experience with OEM customers and long sales cycles preferred
- Strong understanding of technical products
