SENSOR eMagazine awarded our partner, InfraTec GmbH, with the Gold Award in the category “Sensor Components.” The prize was awarded for excellent design innovation and user friendliness.
The Sensors Expo takes place every year in summer in the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. During the trade show this year, prizes were awarded in the categories “sensor,” “sensor components,” “technologies,” and “data acquisition.”
InfraTec competed for the prize with its microspectrometer detector with tunable Fabry-Pérot filter in the wavelength range 8-10.5 µm and prevailed over numerous renowned companies. After receiving the AMA Sensor Innovation Award 2008, the SPIE Prism Award 2009, and the Bose Award 2011, InfraTec once again confirmed its technological strength.
The Fabry-Pérot detectors are already available for the wavelength ranges 3.0 … 4.1 µm and 3.9 … 4.8 µm. In 2012 an additional technological update in product care will follow – then long-wave versions will be widely available, too.
