A second edition of the LASER COMPONENTS Pyroelectric Receiver series is now available!
Introducing the PR No2! An easy to set up device for getting quick and accurate measurements in the laboratory. Just plug in the power input and signal output to quickly take advantage of the new standard from LASER COMPONENTS for Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS), infrared fiber lasers and supercontinuum applications.
By combining a high-quality detector with high-end electronics, the PR series now can handle higher levels of light. This enables researchers to capture accurate results from ultraviolet (UV) to terahertz (THz) detection in several environments.
Similar to its younger sibling, the PR No1, this latest model is designed with two versions, one called the PR No2 IR, for long-wave infrared (LWIR) with a KBr window, and one called the PR No2 THz, for THz detection with a HDPE window. The standout feature of the PR No2 IR is the extended 3dB electronic bandwidth of at least 35 kHz, with 50 kHz being typical. The PR No2 THz has a 3dB electronic bandwidth of 50kHz.
