LASER COMPONENTS employees hit the pedals together and once again provided the largest team for the Olching “Stadtradeln” event in 2024. 44 cyclists covered a distance of 12139 km which corresponds to approximately 2015 kg of CO2 that was not released into the atmosphere. Mayor Andreas Magg honored the initiators of the in-house cycling tours on 26 September in a small ceremony.
“Our commitment to “Stadtradeln” shows that our company takes the environment seriously,” says Winfried Reeb, head of the company's internal Green Team. “At the same time, the bike tours allow our team members to spend time together outside the office - and actively benefit their own health in the process.”
Year after year, more and more employees take part in bike tours to the surrounding area, enjoying the outdoor exercise and the time together with colleagues. What started as a trip to Ammersee four years ago has now become a company tradition that is eagerly awaited by many every year.
