A general distinction is made between polarization-dependent and non-polarizing beam splitters. Below you will find an overview of the non-polarizing models.
Standard Beam Splitter Cubes
Beam splitter cubes consist of two assembled right-angled prisms. They can be easily integrated into the beam path. In contrast to beam splitter plates, there is no offset between the reflected and transmitted beam.
LASER COMPONENTS’ polarization-independent beam splitter cubes are designed for exactly one wavelength in the range from 442 nm to 1550 nm and do not have any influence on the polarization of the beam to be split. These cubes are only available with a reflectance or transmittance of 50% with a maximum difference of 5% for s- and p-polarized light.
Non-polarizing Beam Splitter Cubes
The beam splitter cubes are made from BK7 substrates and are available in various sizes from 10.0 mm to 50.8 mm. As the cubes are cemented, they are suitable for use with medium-power lasers. They have a damage threshold of approx. 100 W/cm2(cw) or about 0.5 J/cm2 (10 ns).

Broadband Beam Splitter Cubes
Broadband beam splitter cubes are suitable for a range of wavelengths. They are designed for a reflectance and transmittance of 50% for unpolarized light.
