3D Optix is developing software for its optomechanical systems that allows complex three-dimensional structures to be planned simply and clearly.
This browser-based program does not have to be installed on a desktop and can, therefore, be operated very quickly. All functions are user-friendly and can be operated simply via drag-and-drop. As soon as an optomechanical component has been brought to the desired location, it snaps into place at the correct position. As usual with 3D Optix, components in the configuration software can also be grouped into sub-modules that can be inserted into the program, moved, and then removed again.
The database of the software includes all of 3D Optix’ optomechanical components. Light sources and standard optics of numerous manufacturers are stored in the database of the software and can be included in planning. The user can also define his own optics at any time. With the raytracing function, the user can quickly determine whether the beam path meets his expectations. The spectral properties can be displayed as a graph or as colored beams.
At the end of the design process, the user can save his setup and create a complete parts list.
