QSIP (Quantum Structure Infrared Photodetector) is a leading international conference dedicated to infrared photodetector technology. It covers the full spectrum of modern IR developments – from material growth and quantumstructure design to the characterization of complex detector systems.

In 2026, experts from around the world will gather in Sète on the French Mediterranean coast. LASER COMPONENTS will also attend to present the latest advances in III–As/Sb, IV–IV, IV–VI, and II–VI infrared materials.

Dr. Richard Kim, R&D Director of the LASER COMPONENTS Detector Group, will share his most recent research findings and outline technological perspectives for future developments.
