Portable Wavefront Metrology System

Optical Engineer’s Companion (OEC) for fast, precise optical system alignment.

Portable Precision for Optical Testing Anywhere

The Optical Engineer’s Companion (OEC) from Imagine Optic is a portable, high-performance wavefront metrology system designed to support optical engineers in both laboratory and field environments. Compact and rugged, the OEC enables quick, reliable analysis and alignment of complex optical systems, making it an essential tool for research, prototyping, and system maintenance. Its intuitive software and plug-and-play design ensure ease of use without compromising precision, making wavefront diagnostics accessible to both experts and non-specialists.

Advanced Shack-Hartmann Sensor for Fast, Accurate Alignment
At the heart of the OEC is a high-resolution Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor offering λ/100 RMS repeatability and high dynamic range. It supports a wide range of wavelengths and configurations, with built-in analysis functions such as Zernike decomposition, MTF, PSF, and Strehl ratio calculations, it supports real-time measurement and alignment tasks. Whether used in R\&D, industrial inspection, or on-site testing, the OEC delivers precise, actionable metrology in a truly portable format.
