“Versatile Link” or V-PIN connectors are very popular in fiber optic technology. They are most commonly used in combination with 200/230 µm POF and HCS fibers. However, there are also versions for 1 mm plastic fibers. Their ferrules have an outer diameter of 3.8 mm. Assemblies with V-PIN connectors are suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
