Technical Purchaser (m/f/d)

LASER COMPONENTS is the company for optical and optoelectronic solutions, which we develop together with our customers and sell all over the world—for over 40 years. We are expanding and looking for support.

• Technical procurement of mechanical, optical, and
  optoelectronic components, as well as auxiliary and operating materials
• Supplier selection, evaluation, and development
• Requesting, comparing, and evaluating quotes
• Conducting price, framework, and contract negotiations
• Processing purchase orders and finalizing contracts
• Monitoring delivery dates, quality, and costs
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing procurement processes
• Maintaining material master data and purchasing documentation in the ERP system
• Working closely with design, work planning, production, and quality assurance

• Completed technical training, with additional training in purchasing or a business administration certification, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in technical purchasing
• Solid business and technical knowledge
• Proficiency in working with technical drawings, specifications, and quality-related issues
• Practical experience dealing with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and service providers
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
• Good written and spoken German and English
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work with a strong hands-on mindset
• Ability to work well in a team and reliability—combined with strong communication skills and negotiation skills
