Customers of LASER COMPONENTS can continue to rely on our company’s high standards of quality. In careful audits, the quality management systems of the production sites in Germany and Canada were recertified according to ISO 9001. The same applies to LASER COMPONENTS (UK). In addition, it was also confirmed that the processes for manufacturing fiber optic assemblies continue to meet the requirements of ISO 13485 for the manufacture of medical technology components.
At the Olching site, two auditors spent four days carrying out spot checks in various areas of the company and, as in previous years, did not find any deviations. LASER COMPONENTS Canada also completed the recertification process without any objections.
In keeping with the KAIZEN concept of continuous improvement, we received a number of suggestions as to where there is still room for optimization beyond the standards. We will integrate these suggestions into our QM systems before the next audits.
