Measurement reliability even at low laser power
Gentec-EO’s pyroelectric power detectors have been specially developed for the precise measurement of pulsed laser radiation. They combine high measurement sensitivity with a robust design and are therefore particularly well suited for monitoring and calibrating laser systems in research, industry, and medical technology – even at very low power levels. Since this technology is sensitive to temperature fluctuations, models with a shielding tube are also available. This prevents uncontrollable current fluctuations and ensures that measurement conditions are reproducible at all times.
Broadband detection from 0.1 µm to 20 µm
Pyroelectric sensors cover a broad spectrum from 0.1 µm to 20 µm and enable precise detection even at power levels below 1 mW. They are compatible with various readout devices, such as oscilloscopes, lock-in amplifiers, and stand-alone measuring instruments. Pyroelectric technology offers the same similar low noise level as photodetectors but has a significantly greater bandwidth.
